A few months ago I had a conversation with Amy Lynn Durham, an American consultant. In her Create Magic at Work podcast series she connects personal leadership issues with wisdom and spirituality. Amy Lynn is a good friend of Judi Neal with whom I have worked on the theme of Spirit at work and also for the Handbook of Personal and Organizational Transformation.
A part of the podcast was about authenticity. Crossing class boundaries is a journey that fundamentally reshapes your identity. Who are you if you live in two worlds but do not fully belong to either? Some may ignore their working class background but it is part of who you are.
